Reading Room
The Christian Science Reading Room is a place for study and a place to learn about Christian Science and spiritual healing. A quiet atmosphere awaits you for studying the Bible, reading about Christ Jesus’ healing ministry, or learning, through reading Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, how spiritual healing is still possible today.
The Reading Room is also a bookstore, where you can purchase Bibles, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and other books by the same author; The Christian Science Monitor, the Christian Science Sentinel, The Christian Science Journal and The Herald of Christian Science (the Spanish Herald is in stock and other languages are available to order. Other products include music cd’s, children’s books, biographies of Mary Baker Eddy and various pamphlets and Bible study books.
Everyone is welcome! A friendly staff is always on duty to answer questions or help with your research.
The Reading Room has a collection of bound volumes of The Christian Science Journal and Christian Science Sentinel that date back to the 1800's, available for reading or research in both print and digital form. There is also a well-stocked Bible study area plus online resources for Bible research. Concord offers an easy way to search the Scriptures and works by Mary Baker Eddy. JSH-Online offers the choice of reading or listening to articles and books as well as additional links to other helpful content.
